Shop Our Full Mattress Range, Spring, Foam and Latex Options

Our mattress collection covers all the main construction types, from individually wrapped pocket spring mattress options that reduce motion transfer between sleeping partners, through to memory foam mattress designs that contour to your body and relieve pressure points, and latex mattress options for those who prefer a more responsive and naturally temperature-neutral surface. Sizes cover single, king single, double, queen and king, all available online with fast Melbourne delivery, or in person at any of our four showrooms where you can spend some proper time lying on each option before you decide.

Mattress Firmness Levels and Who Each One Suits Best

Firmness is personal, but there are some useful starting points. A plush mattress is soft and cushioning, suiting side sleepers and lighter body weights who need the surface to contour around their hips and shoulders. A medium mattress is the most universally comfortable option and works well for couples with different sleeping preferences. A firm mattress gives more pushback and suits back and stomach sleepers, as well as those who find a softer surface causes lower back discomfort. A super firm mattress is at the firm end of the scale and tends to suit heavier body weights or those recovering from back issues who need maximum support. Euro top and pillow top constructions add a comfort layer on top of the support core; they don't change the underlying firmness category but do add an immediate softness that some people find appealing.

What to Know Before Buying a New Mattress

Don't underestimate the importance of matching your mattress to your bed frame. A mattress sitting on widely spaced slats won't perform the way it was designed to, so aim for slats no more than 6-8cm apart for proper support. If you're buying a new frame at the same time, our fabric bed frames, pu leather frames and metal frames all include slat systems designed for mattress compatibility. Size-wise, a queen is the most practical choice for couples in standard bedrooms, while a king suits larger rooms where space isn't a constraint. For solo sleepers in a smaller room, a king single gives noticeably more sleeping surface than a standard single without pushing the frame into the room too far.
