Warranty Coverage
- Duration: All products come with a 12-month warranty unless stated otherwise.
- Australian Consumer Law: Guarantees goods can be repaired or replaced if they are not of acceptable quality.
- Original Purchaser Only: Warranty applies only to the original purchaser and for domestic use. Excludes commercial use.
- Remedy for Defects: Repairs are covered for defective parts only; other repairs may incur costs.
Cancellations

Change of Mind: Please choose carefully when making a purchase. Refunds due to an incorrect product choice will not be issued simply because of a change of mind. We recommend carefully reviewing product images and descriptions before finalizing your purchase.
Exclusions
The warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Fabric/leather fading and creasing
- Minor stitching abnormalities
- Natural characteristics of leather (scars, marks, etc.)
- Damage from spills, sunlight, improper use, or accidents
- Pet damage
- Damage from modifications or improper assembly
- Commercial use of products
Caring for Your Furniture
- Avoid sitting on sofa arms or letting children jump on furniture.
- Always lift furniture when moving, never drag it.
- Protect timber surfaces with placemats or coasters.
- Regularly clean fabric furniture and use specialists for deep cleaning.
Claims Process
- Stop Use Immediately: Upon discovering a defect, cease using the product immediately.
- Notify Within 7 Days: Report the issue to Total Direct Furniture within 7 calendar days.
- Documentation: Provide the Sales Order or tax invoice, detailed description, photos, and a video of the defect.
- Customer Costs: Customer is responsible for the cost of returning the product.
Transportation
- The customer is liable for returning the product for warranty claims.
Refunds
- Refunds will generally be processed within 14 days.
Repairs
- If goods are found to be defective upon delivery or collection, yet their structural integrity is unaffected, Total Direct Furniture reserves the right to repair or replace the item(s) within 30 days using stock on hand or incoming stock. In certain cases, goods presented for repair may be replaced with refurbished items or repaired using refurbished parts.
